The Nikolay Forecast for FD Vegas is looking good!

It has been a while since we have updated, Ray has been hard at work and I have had computer malfunctions for much longer than I want to think about…(so much photo back up) but we are back to regular updates. Car is sitting pretty getting finished up.

Motor is set in place and is just itching to hit that 110+ degree weather in Vegas at the end of the month.

Another look at the beast inside the beauty.

Buttoning everything up to sit down!

Safety first kids!

Shifter in and ready to rock.

And then there was these…

A look through the Jungle!

That new new.

There is always things that could prevent finishing, we hope and pray that nothing does and as thing are set right now we should be terrorizing the track at FD Vegas next week. More updates to come! Especially ones from the road.

With the car all tuned and ready to go with the new 350z transmission, Roland Gallagher is back in full-force action. Taking 24th in qualifying on Friday earned him a spot on game day in front of 10,000+ fans, but no pressure!

After a full motor rebuild, and a testing day some bugs were worked out in, Walker Wilkerson qualify’s 14th on Friday. Also earning him a spot in the Top 32 for Formula D Seattle.

Rob Primo also doing amazing in Pro-Am on Friday, can’t wait to watch today!

Be sure to come by the Garage Autohero/CakeFace Clothing booth and pick up your Roland Gallagher shirts, Walker Wilkerson Shirts, Garage Autohero Shirts, CakeFact shirts, and if you’re lucky maybe even one of the limited Yoshi Shindo shirts!

Nikolay all apart update

Nikolays beauty showing us its butt as we are greeted to the shop

Literally a 30 second break from welding as Ray found new gloves.

Ray doing his thing!  Even after 4-5 years his welding is still crazy to me.

Getting there…

Everything stripped, even the paint!

This is what we leave you with for now, more updates coming soon!

Keep checking back or keep an eye out for more posts about Nikolays build 1 month before Formula D Seattle!

Rob Primo Unleashed!

Many old school local drifters remember this car getting down with an SR20DET in it.

Many others recognize Primo from his right hand drive s13 hatchback, but the reason he had that car was so he had time to finish this beast;

The long time wait has finally paid off. Rob has been through this motor more than most people will go through with any motor; Ray has been built, tore down and rebuilt this 2jz motor again bringing us one of the meanest sounding s14′s in the Northwest.

Rob recently got an Autohero cage treatment with a visit to ‘dimple town’ as teammate Roland Gallagher put it. Though Primo is off to Alaska for a bit, he will be back and competing in Formula D Pro-Am round 3 so make sure you come out and support him and make sure to come say hi!

This is a video put together from a few short clips from Pro-Am round 2, I suggest you turn the speakers up if you want to hear what awesome actually sounds like!

Nikolay Konstantinov bringing sexy back Pt. 1

Nikolay Konstantinov getting down at the starting line of Formula D Seattle last year, this is the beginning of a great relationship for both Nikolay and Autohero.

Clean and pretty, but WAIT…

It started with this fun encounter in Irwindale ProAm series…

To this at the end of the Pro Formula D series last year. But not even something like this can keep Garage Autohero driver Nikolay down.

The car has recently been brought to Garage Autohero and went into surgery under the knife of Ray. Here we have the rear end getting straightened out and parts being installed from Battle Version.

Burnnn baby, burn! The car is going under some serious construction to be ready in time for Formula D Seattle coming up in the a few months.

Remember how I said everything was going under the knife? I REALLY meant EVERYTHING.

Ray doing his magical welding on the car getting it all back to straight as an arrow.

Finishing up for the day

Finished up part of the front end. There was much more work done today, and more to come!

We will keep you guys updated as more gets finished; and I will bring my real camera next time. There will be more updates before you see this car on the track, but make sure and come out to Formula D Seattle to see this beauty all buttoned up and competing in the competition.

Roland Gallagher Takes 3rd Place in Texas

Our beloved Roland Gallagher doing his thing down in Texas before the Indy car races. Love to see him back out there.

Doing some last minute touch ups before hitting the track.

Getting ready to get out there with, and as Larry Chen said in the SpeedHunters.com post; “In 48 hours there will be 65,000 pairs of eyes focused on these Formula Drift Licensed drivers.”

Nice interior shot by Larry Chen showing the Garage Autohero cage and the great new interior teal paint by Yoshi Shindo.

Going door to door with opponents Fredrick Aasbo and Kyle Mohan.

Over all a great weekend for Roland Gallagher and Garage Autohero. Roland took 3rd place which is a great finish for the competitors he was up against. We couldn’t be happier, be on the look out for more coverage from this event and we will see you all in Seattle.
